Castle Arms owns and manages five buildings, four in North Bay and one in Mattawa. Each has a variety of apartments, including market rent and rent-geared-to-income [RGI] units. ALL Tenants have equal rights and equal access to all services and facilities.
North Bay
Castle Arms Non-Profit Seniors Apartments
In North Bay, Castle Arms Apartments come equipped with a fridge and stove in each unit, laundry facilities in each building, onsite maintenance, plus health and wellness activities, events and educational gatherings. All Tenants have the right to enjoy any and all furniture in common areas – including outside. All buildings have a BBQ for Tenant use, as well as a patio area for sitting outdoors. All units are smoke-free. Housekeepers do a yearly ‘safety’ cleaning in each unit.

Castle Arms 1 [CA1]
CA1 has 60 units, including 17 two-bedroom apartments. Two one-bedroom suites are barrier-free for Tenants who use a wheelchair. The laundry room is on the main floor. There is a small [bookable] common room with a kitchen.
Castle Arms 2 [CA2]
CA2 has 75 units, including 20 two-bedrooms. The laundry room is on the main floor. This building has the largest common room, with a kitchen. Many CA events are held here, as it accommodates the most people. If available, Tenants can book it for private functions or group activities.
Castle Arms 3 [CA3]
CA3 has 39 units, with 10 two-bedroom apartments. The laundry room is on the main floor. This [bookable] medium sized common room has a small kitchen.
Castle Arms 4 [CA4]
CA4 has 55 one-bedroom units, five are barrier-free for Tenants who use a wheelchair. There is no common room. The laundry room is on the second floor.
Mattawa
Each Mattawa townhouse has a fridge, stove and laundry facilities. Maintenance staff are scheduled as needed. All units are smoke-free. Housekeepers do a yearly ‘safety’ cleaning in each unit.

Mattawa has 12 units for seniors [65+]:
- two, one-bedroom units are barrier-free and designated rent-geared-to-income [RGI]
- eight, one-bedroom units are RGI
- there are two, two-bedroom market-rate apartments
Tenants need to arrange for the gas and hydro services in their name. Staff can provide information to assist.
