Laundry rooms are provided in each building. The washers and dryers use a prepaid laundry card. The first laundry card is provided free. Instructions for adding money to cards is posted in the laundry room. A lost card can be replaced using the same machine. Current costs are: $2.30 to wash and $1.75 to dry.
Guidelines:
- All washing machines are High Efficiency [HE]. Use HE detergent for best results.
- Check clothes, especially pockets, before putting them in the washer and dryer.
- After each use, wipe down the machines and check to be sure nothing has been left behind.
- Pets are not allowed in laundry rooms.
- Dryer lint traps must be cleaned after each load. Not doing so can create a fire hazard.
